Miriam is an actor, writer, filmmaker, and teacher from Chicago, IL, but currently based in Los Angeles. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa, and will be graduating with an MFA in acting from CalArts this spring.

She is a transformative performer who is committed to telling stories to their fullest, and creating characters that are rich and true to the imaginary circumstances.

Miriam is also an avid cook, a hooper, and a devout WNBA fan.

CalArts Actors showcase 2026

Miriam is a producer at the California and Iowa based production company, Two Steps to the Left Productions. She has directed and starred in George., a play that was part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2019 and winner of the Encore Producer’s Award. In the height of the pandemic, Miriam directed and starred in an innovative devised piece in Des Moines, Iowa. Her most recent work is co-directing and starring in a whodunnit audio drama called The Parting of the Shoe, which is available to listen on Spotify, Apple, and other podcast platforms.
